The buzz on the just concluded 54th Grammy Awards is still in the air, with talks about the award winners, those who came close to winning and past winners who were silent at the event. The awards held on February 12 2012, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. I must confess I didn’t stay up all night to watch the red carpet but thanks to the internet for bringing the news to those who missed it.
The red carpet walk is amongst the major highlights of the event as this a global runway for celebrities and artists to show for looks, clothes, accessories and style. Did someone mention accessories; yea you can say that again. Though several celebs on the red carpet toned down in fashion owing to the recent passing of an icon – Whitney Houston, there were still a few catches that couldn’t go unnoticed.
Who rather than the one with the greatest win in the event looked glamorous and fabulous at the same time - Adele in her stunning black sequined ring-designs gown matched the sparkling look with a pair of diamond earrings and ring by Norman Silverman.

The former Destiny’s Child member gave the Grammys a touch of glam in an Alberta Ferretti gown embellished with a silver appliqué on the bodice. For an added touch of sparkle, Kelly accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels on her ears and fingers. Just another example of how a statement ring and fabulous earring can make any outfit festive!!!
